EAC Subcommittees

• • • The Communications Committee’s focus is communicating with the community about climate change and environmental issues.  The Committee attends many community events, publishes articles, and provides information on social media.  All information is provided in both English and Spanish.

    • The Green Infrastructure Committee works to highlight green infrastructure systems in place in Reading and is working to provide signage so they can be identified and replicated by residents.  They are working to create incentives to install green infrastructure and are working with the City to implement its Vision Zero Plan.

    • The Policy Committee focuses on drafting legislation and providing policy recommendations to elected officials.  Their current focus is on single use plastics.
