Caramel’s Dog Park Parking Lot Temporarily Closed for Fence Replacement

Reading, PA: The City of Reading is advising residents that the upper parking lot at Caramel’s Dog Park at Schlegel Park is closed effective today, September 24, as Public Works crews begin work to remove and replace fencing in the area. The closure is expected to remain in place for at least two weeks, depending on the progress of the work.

Residents visiting Caramel’s Dog Park are encouraged to park on the hill near the dog park and walk across the field to access the park.

The City appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation while Public Works completes the necessary work.
