Kidnapping Suspect, Yusuf Scott, Apprehended in Texas by Amarillo Police.

Reading, PA: The Reading Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is releasing the following information relating to a kidnapping incident that occurred on 11/16/2023:

Yusuf Scott was taken into custody in Texas by Amarillo City Police Department. Scott was taken into custody relative to a kidnapping incident that occurred on 11/16/2023 at approximately 03:30am where Scott broke into a residence in the 400 block of Windsor St and kidnapped a 26-year-old female at gunpoint. The female was located safe later the morning of 11/16/2023 and Scott was on the run until 11/19/2023 when he was taken into custody.
