TO HOLD ANNUAL SUMMER PARROT DAZE

TO BENEFIT READING PUBLIC LIBRARY

Reading, Pa. June 20, 2023 – The Berks County Parrothead Club’s annual Summer Parrot Daze will be held on Saturday, June 24 from 4 to 9 pm at Chapel Hill Golf Course.  Profits from the event will support Reading Public Library’s STEM education programming.

The club has raised over $800,000 for Berks County charities over the years. Tickets are available at readingpubliclibrary.org. The $40 ticket includes an Italian buffet, beer, soda and music by the Caribbean Sunset Band and the Plenty Pepper Steel Drum Band.   The evening’s theme is inspired by the style of musician Jimmy Buffet whose followers pay tribute to him by holding “Parties with a Purpose” for community causes.
