POSITION SUMMARYAn ideal candidate will provide general office support and administrative management while also performing various paralegal tasks for an office of three attorneys. 

Typical job duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Managing office administrative tasks, including timekeeping/payroll submissions and invoice processing.
  • Assisting with the processing and execution of contracts.
  • Managing attorney calendars and scheduling.
  • Managing the flow of law office visitors.
  • Managing the intake of Right-to-Know Requests and assisting with responses.
  • Assisting with the preparation of City ordinances, resolutions, and other legislative documents.
  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of liens.
  • Assisting with electronic filing of litigations documents prepared by the City’s in-house attorneys.
  • Assisting with file management.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience, Skills & Abilities

  • Four (4) years’ experience working as a paralegal, or office manager in a legal setting 
  • Paralegal certification preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and the ability to adapt to new professional/office management software
  • Ability to interface with all types of people in a professional manner
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency desirable
