Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)

The City of Reading’s ESG Program provides essential funding to qualified nonprofit organizations committed to addressing homelessness. This initiative funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development supports the following key activities:

Outreach: Engaging with homeless individuals and families living on the streets.

Shelter Improvement: Enhancing the availability and quality of emergency shelters.
