- Probationary period of 12 months, during which time new employees will receive all necessary training as specified by the Department.
- Entry level salary - $47,753.42 (throughout the probation period)
- Two day, two night, four off platoon schedule

* Paramedic Trainee - $19.36
* Paramedic I - $21.63
* Paramedic II - $23.59
* Paramedic III - $25.61
* Paramedic IV - $26.43
* Paramedic V - $27.88 - Overtime is built into the schedule and will be paid for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a given week.
