NOTICE OF CORRECTION

CITY OF READING, PA

 

 

On March 7, 2019, the City of Reading published a Notice of Intent (NOI) to request Release of Funds (RROF) for Tiered Projects and Programs for the following activities to be supported with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): 

 

  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title: HOME Program - Major Housing Rehabilitation
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title: CDBG - Public Facilities Improvements
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title:  CDBG Minor Housing Rehabilitation
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title:  CDBG Demolition and Clearance
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title:  CDBG Commercial Façade Program
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title: HOME Homeownership Assistance
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title: HOME New Rental Construction

 

The purposes of that Notice were to inform the public of the City’s environmental determinations for the above-identified activities, and that the City would be submitting a request for release of funds to HUD as related to the above-identified project.  The purpose of this notice is to correct certain problems contained in the original notice.  

 

  1. The date "on or about" which the City will submit a request for release of funds to HUD is herein changed from March 25, 2019, to April 3, 2019.
  2. This notice hereby removes the following projects from the City’s NOI to Request Release of Funds from HUD:
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title: CDBG - Public Facilities Improvements
  • Tier 1 Broad Review Project Title: HOME New Rental Construction
