History Storytimes-Preschoolers

​Join us on the second Wednesday of each month, for a special Storytime for preschool children exploring the rich history of our area.

May: Topic to be announced

June: Learn how and why a gristmill was important.  Join us as we read the story Pancakes, Pancakes by Eric Carle.  Get a chance to try the pancakes that we make.   Ages 3-8 and their parents. 

July: Join us as we learn and explore why covered bridges were built. This month’s story will be: The Great Bridge Building Contest. Please call the Berks County Heritage Center at 610-374-8839 to register.

August: Join us as we talk about animals that lived on a farm. – “Click, Clack, Moo Cows that type” by Betsy Lewin. Ages 3-8 and their parents.

September: Bring along your favorite blanket and join us.  This month’s story will be: The Quiltmakers Gift by Jeff Brumbeau. Ages 3-8 and their parents.
