CRIZ BUSINESS REPORTING

All businesses located within the CRIZ are required by state law to submit a report on certain taxes you paid during 2024 to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and the City of Reading. This report is due by June 15, 2026. Please note that this is not a method for paying taxes; it is just an informational report on the taxes that your business paid.

The City of Reading Revitalization and Improvement Zone Authority (CRRIZA) hired an accounting firm to assist you with completing this state and local tax report at no charge to you. You are not required to use the accountant and you can complete the tax report using the instructions found on the City’s website. A non-compliance penalty will be issued for failure to complete the state and city tax report by June 15, 2026.
