CRRIZA Board of Directors
The City of Reading Revitalization and Improvement Zone Authority (the Authority) members were appointed by Mayor Eddie Moran, Senator Judy Schwank, and Representative Manny Guzman in the fall of 2024. The Authority operates within the duties authorized by the Pennsylvania CRIZ Legislation (Article XVIII-C of Housing Bill No. 465, Session of 2013) and the Pennsylvania Municipality Authorities Act.
The Authority’s role includes designating a revitalization and improvement zone in the City of Reading and engaging in the financing of the construction, including related site preparation and infrastructure and reconstruction or renovation, of facilities within such revitalization and improvement zone. The Authority is responsible for ensuring the CRIZ operations are in compliance with state reporting and compliance requirements. They hold public meetings on a bi-monthly basis to make policy and project decisions.
