American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Grant Application Process
Regardless of any prior meeting, conversation or proposal submission made regarding a prospective project, all entities seeking funding will be required to complete a formal application. Applications will be reviewed by a panel comprised of elected and appointed officials, along with stakeholders and residents from our community. This panel will review all external ARP A grant funding applications prior to submission to City Council for full approval.
The Administration and City Council are committed to distribute a minimum of $2,500,000 in funding to external stakeholders who had programming or capital needs impacted by COVID and were unable to find supplemental funding under any other program. The remainder of the funding will be set aside for the city's financial security, infrastructure projects, development and capital projects. City related entities may qualify under our capital funding budget for select projects.
