Add/Remove parcel from CRIZ map

The City of Reading CRIZ map includes 128 acres of land within the City of Reading. From time to time, the City of Reading Revitalization and Improvement Zone Authority (CRRIZA) will accept applications to add parcels into the CRIZ and remove parcels from the CRIZ. CRIZZA is accepting applications from May 1 - July 31, 2026. This opportunity most likely will be offered again next year.

If you are interested in applying to have your parcel added to the CRIZ map, please complete this form  CRIZ PARCEL ADDITION APPLICATION. CRRIZA will evaluate applications based on several factors, including the following: the projected positive economic impact to the CRIZ and the community, the estimated number of jobs created, the estimated increase in qualified taxes, the development timeline, the project readiness, and the applicant's experience with commercial or industrial development projects.
