The Reading Nature Center is a non-profit organization
affiliated with the Reading Parks System. Our main goal
is to provide a safe learning environment for the City
of Reading, and the surrounding areas, while also providing
a source for environmental awareness. Each season we schedule
events that are open to the public, however groups are
also encouraged to schedule their own visits and activities.
All activities are free of charge unless otherwise stated.
The Reading Nature Center is a perfect place to bring
school groups for field trips, boy-scout and girl-scout
groups, or any summertime programs through schools or
day cares. Or just gather up some friend s or family members,
call and make reservations for any activity you want.

More activities are available and existing
ones can be altered to best accommodate the age group
scheduled.
Reservations should be made
for all scheduled events. It helps us determine the amount
of supplied needed.

Be ready to provide a call back name
and number and an idea of the number of people in the
group, as well as their ages.

Sunday - 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Monday - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Tuesday - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Wednesday - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Thursday - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Friday - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Saturday - Closed
These hours are effective May 1st through
September 1st. Groups can be schedules any day/time depending
on availability of staff.
