Goals 2007 for the Department of Public Works

• Complete construction of the Angelica Environmental Park.

• Continue work described in the City’s Consent Decree with the US Department of Justice, EPA, and DEP at the wastewater treatment plant and in the sanitary sewer collection system, particularly GIS implementation and design completion.

• Complete the play apparatus, Band Shell and tot lot improvements at City Park.

• Implement a fleet management computer system which will provide better monitoring of vehicle repairs and history as well as parts inventory and scheduled maintenance operations.

• Improve streetlight repair program and add 200 new lights where necessary.
