City Council Meetings & Agendas Archive
January 2006 - March 2012

The City of Reading City Council meets in a variety of settings to transact business, enact legislation and discuss city-related items.

Council addresses legislation at their Regular Business meetings, held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7 PM in the Council Chambers, located on the second floor in City Hall. Council holds one Work Session on the third Monday of each month at 7 PM in the Penn Room to discuss specific topics and issues. These meetings are televised on the BCTV MAC Channel—Channel 99.

Council Committees (Public Works, Public Safety, Finance and Administrative Oversight) meetings are held on alternate Monday nights of the month at 5:30 PM in the Council offices. These meetings are not televised.

All meetings are open to the public. The agenda for all meetings are posted on the City’s website on the Friday prior to the meeting.
