Mayor McMahon and PA Represenative Caltagirone Present $25,000 to Reading D.I.D.


Mayor Thomas McMahon, Mayor of the City of Reading Pennsylvania, and Thomas Caltagirone,Pennsylvania State Representative for the 127th Legislative District, will present a $25,000 Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development grant check for the Reading Downtown Improvement District to Lorri Swan, Acting Executive Director of the Reading Downtown Improvement District on Thursday, December 20, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. in the courtyard at 645 Penn Street.  “This check illustrates that cooperate efforts yield results. 

This will provide D.I.D. with much- needed equipment to carry out their mission,” stated McMahon.  “These funds are part of a continuous joint effort between Mayor McMahon and my office to do what’s necessary for Reading,”  added Caltagirone.
