Tax
Administration
The Tax Administration office is responsible
for the billing, record keeping, administration and collection
of all taxes levied by the City of Reading and the Reading
School District.
The following taxes are administrated by the Tax
Division:
The 2010 City of Reading Resident Earned Income Tax Rate is 3.2%.

Business Privilege Tax and License
Earned Income (Employer and Individual)
Occupation Privilege Tax (Employer and self-employed)
Per Capita Tax
Real Estate Tax -City and School
Third-Class City Licenses
The Tax Administration Division office is open Monday through
Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Taxpayers may leave voice mail messages 24 hours a day.
Please note that voice mail messages left after 4:00 PM
or on weekends or holidays are retrieved on the next working
day.
