Mayor Responds To Reading Eagle Article

In regard to the article in the Saturday, December 1st, 2012 edition of the Reading Eagle about the City Charter Board ruling, Mayor Vaughn Spencer issued this statement today:
“Like the disclosures that led to the article, it would be a violation of the City Charter and the City Charter Board Ordinance for me to speak on a case pending appeal whose records have been sealed by the Court, so at this point in time, although I would very much like to set the record straight, I am obligated by law not to do so.”
