NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT

 

Public Notice is hereby given that on April 10, 2017 the Council of the City of Reading will consider the following modifications to the 2014-2018 Consolidated Plan and 2014-2015 Action Plans for the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME).  Projects funded in FY 2015 for Skyline Apartments rehabilitation 50 N. 9th Street, Our City of Reading city-wide rehabilitation, and Hillside Pointe Apartments new construction 333 N 14th Street will be cancelled.

The reallocated funds will be used for activities previously advertised in the FY 2017 Action Plan including Rental Rehabilitation, Tenant Based Rental Assistance and Rehabilitation for Homeownership.

The modification to the County of Berks and City of Reading Joint Consolidated Plan FY2014-FY2018 will add tenant-based rental assistance within the City of Reading to Goal #2.

Copies of the amendment to the Plans are available for public inspection and review at the following locations for a thirty-day period from March 7 2017 to April 6, 2017.
