Mission: To administer and enforce the conflict of interest provision of the Charter (Section 1201) and the various prohibition sections of the Charter and the Code of Ethics.

Created by Section 1201 of the Home Rule Charter for the City of Reading., amended as Bill No. 7, May 8, 2000, city residents, amended Bill 74, September 27, 2010 to include a removal process.
