In an effort to create a customer friendly environment for City of Reading Development Projects, we have streamlined our existing permit operations and have created an office which will include staff from Building/Trades Division, Zoning Division, Planning Division, Engineering Division, and Fire Department. The office will meet with Citizens, Builders, Developers, and Contractors once a week by appointment with the following schedule:

Thursday: 9AM – 12PM

The basic purpose of this effort is to make all decision makers available for our clients at one place which in turn will help the clients to eliminate any uncertainties from site development review process point of view. This type of process help us to bring flexibility to our regulatory process and enhance communication between all stakeholders and key players in this process.

We always welcome your comments and suggestions for any improvements to City of Reading regulatory process.
