Wohlsen Construction, which is working on building the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Reading, will be conducting work that will impact vehicular traffic tomorrow (Thursday, May 21) and next Wednesday (May 27).
The construction company will be placing concrete for the hotel project from its Court Street entrance, located in the 700 Block of Court Street, tomorrow (May 21st) from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Workers will try to keep open both lanes on Court Street, but there may be times when they will need to restrict traffic flow down to one lane.
Wohlsen also plans to close east- and west-bound traffic in the 600/700 blocks of Penn Street next Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. During this time, east-bound traffic on Penn Street will be detoured at Sixth Street and west-bound traffic on Penn Street will be detoured at Eighth Street.
