All Reading Parking Authority garages are open; residents may park free of charge through 8:00 a.m. Thursday.
Mayor Thomas McMahon was admitted to St. Josephs Medical Center for scheduled medical tests shortly after delivering his State of the City remarks tonight. In accordance with the Home Rule Charter Managing Director Ryan P. Hottenstein assumed the position of Deputy Mayor.
NEW! HOURS FOR THE CITY OF READING TAX OFFICE ARE CHANGING!
In an effort to increase the efficiency by which we serve the public, the Tax Administration of the City of Reading has changed the hours when we are open to the public. Beginning Tuesday, February 9th, 2010, The Tax Administration Division will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to 4pm and will be closed to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Any citizen needing tax assistance is encouraged to contact the Customer Service Center at 877-727-3234.
